Question for teachers out there!

My school is looking into a balanced school year calendar. We are in the very beginning stages. I have agreed to be on the parent survey team. I am curious if there are any readers out there who have a balanced(year round/intercession) calendar? 

Did you have a parent survey that you sent out? 

We are exploring this option because of summer loss mostly. 

Any input anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
